G'day all,
I suppose this has been asked before, but was wondering if anyone could shed some light on which are the common user channels for UHF in NSW. I only really know of ch. 40 as being the channel the truckies use, but know of a specific channel used on the Pacific Hwy I cannot remember, and others in other areas of NSW..... Your help is appreciated.
Mark.

Bit of a big question to ask. Try searching on say Google for UHF Radio and see what you get. I am sure you will find a plethora of information.

UHF Channels

1-8 repeater use
5 EMERGENCY Only
10 4WD Convoys
11 General calling
18 Caravans & motor homes
22 -23 Data only no voice tranmissions allowed
29 Truckies channel
31-38 repeater use
39 Truckies seconday highway channel
40 Truckies Highway channel

When touring trip I sit on Ch 10 and scan 5, 18 & 40.
