Has any one been to
limestone gorge camping area and is it possible to swim at
limestone creek.I downloaded the
Gregory Park info and they have a symbol for swimming but they also say that there are those saltie snappers in the waterways in this park.

We've camped there, wouldn't have thought there was enough water for a saltie.
The pools we saw were nearly stagnant and green, shallow
rock pools and you wouldn't want to swim in them.
We were there early in the travellin season and I guess it would depend on the wet for that particular year.

The picture of the boab in my profile is from there in '03. Although its a nice picture, the only thing memorable was the flies; zillions of them. From what I recall it wasn't easy to get into the water even if you wanted to.
