Can anyone recommend an after market cruise control for a 2000 model 3.0L turbo diesel Hilux. Are they available? and at what cost?
Thanks
Graham

I have used DANA (US made) cruise controls on three vehicles and have had no problems at all. They are not the cheapest but are reliable.
I currently have an electronic one on a 2.4 Lt turbo diesel. The cost was around $500 fitted 3 years ago.

I have used an 'Autopilot' model for years, it has been faultless and is an Australian product .

From the Patrol list not long ago
My Command purchased from Supercheap Auto and fitted by me cost $160 on special ($195 norm)
Sounds cheap enough to me!

Graham, I Got one fitted to a 80 series desiel for aprox $ 650 In March this year. I also believe it has paid for it self as I don't get speeding tickets. It was fitted By Big Brother Security in WA, It is an electric one not vacume as I was told they dont work weel on desiels. I had trouble with it totaly losing it's holding power so I took it back and they replaced it under warenty it now works as is should Hope this helps.
