Hello,
last week I had to replace the 240v element in my Blue chescold fridge/ freezer.
If yours is a similar unit it is quite simple.
remove lid. It just clips out.
take out screws
take off gas knob
take off back
Disconnect the element from the terminal block at the lower part of the fridge.
The heating area containing the 12 and 240 volt elements are contained in a cylinder which, if spun around will reveal that it is clipped together. Just squeeze around the join and you will see how it comes apart. remove the insulation...carefully as it is a piglet to get back if you mess it up too much.
REMOVE LOCATING SCREW AT THE BASE OF THE ELEMENT HOUSING THEN REMOVE THE ELEMENT...DONT GORILLA THE THING, AS IT WONT BUDGE UNLESS THIS SCREW IS REMOVED.
reverse the proceedure.
Good luck.
