Does anyone know if the bats are gone from

I was hoping someone would say that they were gone from the area!!
What a waste of a australian tourist destination. Everyone you speak too say that they are heading there, Just to visit a smelly stinking mess.I've been looking forward to seeing the pools for about 10 years .
What a waste!!!!!

Try
Bitter Springs (turn off is north of the other springs). No bats, less people. There is a caravan park within walking distance I think it is
Mataranka Cabins.

Thank you we will deffinately stop at
bitter springs. No bats less people sounds like
heaven and within walking distance, bonus.
Thanks very much

Have fun!

My daughter visited
Mataranka in April 2005. The fruit bats are now gone.
Without the bats the
Thermal Spring is a great place to visit.
