Gday Darbi

I assume teas are the 2 tyre sizes you r looking at?

Load Index Ply OD in mm
265/65R17 112 776
LT26575R17 121 10 803

If so you r as you can see you get a little more hight out of the tyre it has a 10 ply rating which r both bonuses and it has a higher load index so you r good on the insurance side too. It will put the speedo out by a small amount but not much.

Note# The OD and the width of the tyre will change slightly depending on manufacturer even know it says 265/70R17 it may be slightly smaller or bigger.

Aspect ratio refers to the ratio between the chord of a wing and the span of the plane/glider. What's it got to do with tyres?

G'day Dave,

ratio of tyre section height to tyre section width.

ie 30 = height is 30% of width.
