G'day all,

I know it's a few days early but I'm heading bush in the mornng so....

was to be marching (in my RFS yellows) with Taralga Sub Branch this monday but due to unforeseen circumstances will be only lunching in Taralga tomorrow before camping at Dingo Dell with the two elder kids (6 & 3 1/2) then on to Western Plains Zoo via the back tracks and back via Hill End/Sofala etc.

To those that gave their lives and those that tried to make sense of them on return to our shores with the help of their dear Mothers, ......I thank you

To our VCs from Gallipoli:

Alexander Burton
William Dunstan
John Hamilton
Albert Jacka
Leonard Keysor
Alfred Shout
William Symons
Hugo Throssell
Frederick Tubb

forgive me if I have forgotten any of you,

Thankyou for what we have here.

they shall not grow old
as we that are left grow old
age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
at the going down of the sun
and in the morning
we will remember them

As a vietnam Vet i thank you for your sentiments. Personally I hide on days of remembrance... I get very upset remembering things that my brain has taken years to manage to hide.. I can't go to services, I just get too emotional and off course the media being as sensitive as they are immediatly give the best coverage to the most emotional people there... Maybe tomorrow I'll find a nice young lady and have a good shag and remember the good times...
