G'day Everyone in Exploroz World
I own a '97 Pajero and am looking for information about the ARB front dif locks as I am very keen to put them on my vehicle.
Wanting to know if anyone has fitted the dif locks and how they go? I have only heard good reports about them, but wish to hear from somebody that has them actually fitted to their Pajero.
Also, is there a octane boost additave to run standard unleaded in the DOHC 3.5L Pajero?
Thanks
Mickpaj

Mickpaj, I don't know about the diff locks but your feul question puzzled me as I ran standard unleaded in a DOHC 96 paj for 170 000 with no side effects or any additave. Did you want to put the additave in as choice or are you supposed to run premium in this vehicle? (has been years since I owned this vehicle)

Thanks Trevor
I have tried running straight unleaded and found that the engine 'pinged' without an additive. Says on the petrol cap to run premiun unleaded only, so this is why the question on the additive.

Have a look on Outer limits. The guy who assisted in the development of the Paj diff lock is a moderator this
forum.
Several guys with them fitted are regulars.
Cheers,
John.

Cannot help with the diff locks as I have no use for them. However I have never had a problem with unleaded fuel in either the 3.5L or the 3.8L. The latter I average around 12.2L/100Km and the 3.5 I was at about 11.8L/100Km.
