Any one travelling along this road will be interested in the following-Rang
Kiwirrkurra store today and have been told that they have Opal Unleaded as a trial at the moment for $2.00/lt.Diesel is $1.60/lt.
Also at
Kintore(Walungurru) ULP and diesel is avaliable,as it is at
Kunawarritji community(ULP and Diesel $2.00/lt).
Would still pay to ring ahead and
check supplies of fuels.
Was also told that its very dry,no rain at all for the last 6 months(this time last year they were flooded in).

It was last March, early April when it was wet. By
Easter it had dried out, but there were still water birds in the
Great Sandy Desert. Diesel was about $1.80 at
Kunawarritji and less at
Kintore and
Kiwirrkurra.
I am heading out that way again in four weeks
