Has anyone driven the new hilux offroad. I'm also interested if anyone has put larger mud tyres on and if so do they scrap on the inner guards, I plan on putting my BFG 31.10.5 tyres on as soon as I get
mine next week?
I'm hoping it will be a better offroad truck than the torsion bar models.

From my little squiz at one I reckon they'll go
well offroad with a set of BFG's on them an everything else stock. But I'll be interested to hear how yours goes.

Apparently the 31x10.5x15 BFG Muddies don't fit. Getting aftermarket rims is also an issue due to a wierd offset.

Where did that info come from? I have rims which are called navara offset which puts the tyre further away from the car, I think they should fit ok.
Is the problem the height of the tyre or the width?

Hound
will be picking up new hilux on friday so I should be able to give you some ideas around the middle of next week
It is a company vehicle and has to travel into some fairley isolated and rough areas, but it is also a lease vehicle so we are limited by what we can put on or pull off. Anyway we are able to change the tyres so I went for a set of Cooper ST 225/75
I will give you some
feedback on how they go , I know they are muddies but we can only go so far.

Have to correct mistake, I was meant to say that the ST's aren't a tradiational mud tyre, but I am only allowed to go so far
