well folks i am a happy man slowly getting things ready for our trip in august managed to download 600 mixed music tracks in mp3 form onto dvd and transfer to laptop then the big test playing music ,set up maps and gps and all works no worrries my little gps magellan 310 tracking 6 satelites hanging on the wall in side house in the study so that will do for now and then to add the topping my darling wife says how is the laptop does it need to be upgraded
after picking myself off the floor i said not yet a bit later in the year after our trip
so happy man steve

Tell her that to use moving maps it sure does need upgrading ...then send me the old one :)) Mine is almost as old as me, not enough ram..not fast enough etc. But I can't justify buying a new one, too many bits to replace on the vehicle before I go.

... had more but lost an 80 gig HD :(
