Finally after having my campervan on the market for months I have a series buyer taking the train to Kalgoorlie from
perth. I tried advertising in the Kalgoorlie miner, Sunday times, Quokka, Autotrader. The Idea was to get a few people interested and take it to
Perth. But I got few calls and none sounded series or were bargain hunting (wanting something with under 100,000k and showroom condition for around 10k) So after buying the old girl for10k 5 years ago and 65k and after spending a fortune fixing things (new head, sideplate, master cylinder, freewheeling hubs, front and rear axle seals, brakes, tyres, shockersetc etc) hopefully I will be parting with her for 7k tomorrow arvo. My advice to anyone after a 4wd camper is to offer 1/2 what they are asking as they are hard to sell both for them and you

I have found car buyers in general run when you tell them how many kms it has done. Really, if they have found a car more than a few years old, and it is showing less than an average of 20,000 km per year(40,000 km per year for a country car) - they should "smell a rat". Are they serious that they believe that the 10 year
old car they looked at with 50,000 km on the clock is genuine? Hope the sale goes to plan Davoe - trouble is when you hold out for fair value, the vehicle just gets another year older and drops further in value. Motherhen
