Evening all; We have a 600 metre dusty gravel driveway to the main bitumen road and the dust always settles on the rear window and back of our vehicle. Its the only place (in the summer) where our vehicle gets dirty. Can anyone tell me if the dust deflector that sits on the roof over the rear door works. The Toyota salesman said they don't.

Thanks, Philip.

Phillip,
I have one and I'd say don't bother, they don't work very well.

80 series ones do make difference when i had one
100 series-have 2 mates with them and they say dont make any difference on their cars-also on both their cars the y conflict with the roofracks
their advice stopped me from getting one

I spoke to Vic Widman recently about this... with all the dust he encounters. He told me that if they made a decent difference he'd have one on his 100.... but he doesn't. Saved me the money.

cheers

Thanks for those replies; The Toyota salesmen was on the ball.
