hello all. I'm a new member and I was wondering if anybody had any info on a nudge bar or bull ball to fit a 2005 jeep cherokee sport that worked with the air bags. Thankyou

Hey fatz

I was being HELPFULL.

I'll rephrase the questions for you...

2005 ?? That's this years model.
Did you buy it brand new?
Did you buy it yet?
Have you asked at the dealership yet cause being Brand New maybe people here might not know what will interchange with what.

Maybe the dealership can help you better than others here can seeing as it's Brand Spanking New.

I own a bus and I dont know anything at all about anything

Why didn't you buy one at the dealership? What did they say?

Maybe the dealership can actually help you. Not many people here with Brand Spanking New ones.

I own a bus and I dont know anything at all about anything

I am in Melbbourne and know a few auto people, email me if you like and I'll be happy to introduce you you if that helps.

I only mean to help Mr. new bloke. This is really a good place to start. Can I buy you a pizza? Lol.

iMusty

Uh, I did ask at the dealership and the 'genuine' was not yet available. I was asking if anyone could steer me in the direction of where else I might try. Thanks

Gday Simmo1

What do you need it for

I.E> Protection for night driving agenised animal strikes, mounting Spotlight’s, aerials.

Have a chat to TJM or ARB about you need’s and they can advise you on the right type of bar.

Explorer,

I was mainly after a bit of protection. I know the bull bar is better, but how do they rate with the air bags? or do I have to make a choice between them? The official cherokee nudge bar is still being tested so that the air bags will still work and there is no word when they may be available. Will have a chat with ARB and TJM.
Thanks for your help

Talked to ARB, told me a bull bar should be available in about a month.

You have the best oppertunity now, forget the standard supplied, talk to the dealers and get permission to fit tow bar on front (new bull bars are made to colapse) and mount a nuge bar on that / bull bar then you will find it a solid base and dam handy if you want to pull / back anything

done mine great
