Greetings
I am seeking a source of flush mounting luggage tie down points for the rear of my patrol. The sort that lie flat and can be pop up when in use.
Assistance would be appreciated.
Regards
Paul

Paul, I've been looking myself. Found some at Bias Boating Warehouse, but they are stainless steel for outside on a boat. Very expensive. The cheapest ones I saw were about $24 each. I left them there and will keep looking. I'll let you know if I find some.

Thanks. I have a BIAS near me so will check it out. Price is an issue. Good gear but the stainless is expensive.

My old Prado had nice simple tiedowns. They are held with a single 6mm bolt. I'd phone Toyota and ask them how much for the tie downs for a 90series Prado. I'd be surprised if they wanted more than $10.
Also our local Opposite Lock has a range of them for about $10-15.
Cheers

Dropped Opposite Lock an email. Will also try and check out some truck body builders and my local Toyota spare parts.
Thanks

Paul
Do as I did and visit your friendly wrecking yard. Tojo/Nissan/any other make of delivery van you care to mention has heaps in the back.
Can be had for a song.

Hi Paul,
Called into the Sheet Metal
shop that made
the tub for my trailer. They had some there. The ones I looked at for my storage shelf were going to cost me $6.60 inc GST. Suggest you try your local sheet metal
shop. These ones are a square plate with a recess for the tiedown loop to lay flush in whilst not in use.
Cheers
Barry
