About 3 months ago Ihad the local Opposite Lock outlet fit Dobinson Springs/ToughDog foam shock absorbers to my 3.0GU111 Patrol.
I might be being picky but I feel the ride is now harsher than standard whereas I was sold on the idea of a more supple/compliant suspension.
Anyone else have this experience with Tough Dogs or is it impossible to give longivity offroad/comfort on road. Every litlle bump in the road is felt rather than being absorbed as I had hoped.

Have you taken it back to the dealer that fitted them and talked with them?

What did they say when you were susing them out about the shocks and springs??

Ive heard this once before with tough dog, but also heard good reports.

I have the Dobinson Springs with my 6in lift on GQ, and Rancho 9000's, the BigBalls lift kit, and plush as a Rolls Royce :-)
