We have just purchased our caravan and are looking to spend some time in Hervey Bay in September - can anyone recommend a caravan park that is dog friendly in that area?

Hi,

Several years ago we stayed at a park called Hillcrest at Burrum Heads and at that time they let us stay there with our dog. The only requirement was that the dog must be restrained all of the time.

If you will be taken to a page with their contact information.

Might be worth a call.

Burrum Heads is at the Northern end of Hervey Bay and is a little bit quieter than in the middle of Hervey Bay itself.

It is a nice part of the world.

Cheers

I will concure that Hillcrest at Burrum was a good spot with a dog.

We were camping there 2 years ago at Christmas time and they were allowing dogs then.

They have changed ownership since then and don't know if they still allow pets.
