Well they started to arrive on Wednesday but we have almost a full crew in town tonight. The town is jumping, not everyone but most of the people I know are really keen to see at least some of this fantastic event.

The competitors in this years Outback Challenge are taking up parking spots in Argent St and they look better than ever.

These vehicles are truly amazing. How about a 4.2TD Nissan putting out 400hp. I would love to have a play with that. More to the point I would love to be able to build a no compromise off road toy. It is mind blowing what you can do if you don't have to take into account normal everyday use. And the missus and kids.

I have to work most of the week but am hoping to get out and see some of the action as the week goes on. Will keep you up to date as best I can about how things are going.

Looking forward to an exciting week

Do you reckon Bonz would like to see 400 hp in the 3l TD Patrol Lyn? I think he prefers to see the event than torture the vehicle or himself like they do.

I hoe to get some time to sneak out into the great outdoors and catch some of the action.

Might not be till Friday though. If talking to Bonz let him know to keep his eyes open for me too. Grey GU wagon with Safari snorkel and Black ARB bull bar.

If I could work out how to get my Rig pic up I would not have to describe it to you.
