Hi all, just heading towards Alice and the Challenger will be ready for it's 105K service by the time we get there.

Does anyone have experience with a service deptartment/garage that they'd recommended (or otherwise so that I can avoid them!) - particularly with servicing 4wd's and ideally the Challenger.

Many thanks all

Juma,

The Mitsubishi dealer in the Alice is Peter Kittle Mitsubishi at 46 Stuart Highway. They are at the Northern end of town near MacDonalds but I would suggest you book the Challenger in as early as possible on 08 8952 3111, because they are also the Nissan & Toyota dealership for Alice Springs and they were quoting over a weeks wait when we were there.

Juma,

Like Wombat said, Peter Kittle is the only place to go, you can't miss it if you stay on the Stuart Highway, it's easily the biggest car yard in Alice. Definately a good idea to book car in on the first day you arrive in Alice, as town is starting to become busy again.

Hi Juma,
Highly recommend Stuart Highway Autos, Kittle's pretty ordinary.

Peter Kittle motor co are very expensive and are primarily interested in selling cars not maintaining them. Don Kyatt (Fidler and Clarke) Nth Stuart highway 088952 2637 are good and honest, Bob Clarke has got my patrol running beautifully. Master Tech at 8 Kidman st 088952 9595 also worth a look, friend gets his 80 series serviced there and is happy with service and honesty.

Many thanks to all for the responses. We're currently at Oodnadatta and heading north via Dalhousie and Finke or Andando so I think the Challenger will be ready for a bit to TLC when we arrive in Alice!

Cheers, Juma
