Frankston at the moment ex demo gear and some returned gear. Some is crap like the
camp oven with a hole in the bottom, other gear is BRAND NEW just Ex Demo.
EG: GEO 4 Tent - MISSING THE CARRY BAG $150 intead of $500+! BUT!! If you look elsewhere the GEO5 Tent Bag is forsale for $10!
Heaps of Ex Demo Tents.. Some complete, some missing poles ( But the replacement poles are right next to it in same section!)
Typical, I dont need a cheap tent at moment :(

Dont speak too soon, it was still there when I left.
The other day when I went in, thre was a massive Canvas "Sunroom" there down from $660 to $50 no poles or bag.. Just been rolled up and tied up with a bit of string..
Im usually like you state, I have that muchbleepthat I never use!

Just rang them - sadly at those prices, the Geo 4 tent doesn't come with the bag OR poles (although they have a Geo 6 with bag for the same price, but again no poles). Apparently the poles aren't available as a kit either - you have to buy individual sections to make a pole kit up, where it gets ex$pen$ive. So basically a good deal for someone with the same tent and a massive rip in it - just replace the tent and use your existing pole set.
Bummer - been waiting for the Geo 4 to be on sale for a while now. Will have to wait for the next privilege card members sale (30% off tents!).

From my experience, Ray's Tent City should be named Raise Tent City. This is because they raise the prices 50% just before they have a 30% off sale.
Recent example - I bought a little single burner gas cooker marked down from $29.99 to $15. The same thing sells at Graingers for $17.99 normal price.
