Hi Guy's,
Today we have just received our HF aerial and we have looked a the mounting points for the aerial on the Kaymar site. We have two options one is to mount in the middle of the spare wheel on the carrier and the other is on the bar that hinges the spare wheel on the Kaymar rear bar.

When we took the aerial out to look at option two which we like because of the protection with the spare tyre, we have tried to put the aerial in this area at the approximate Height the mounting bracket will go(as we have not purchased this yet untill we have decided were we are going to mount the aerial)and have found not enough room in our opinion.

Our Questions are these:
1. Has anyone had an aerial mounted in this area of the Kaymar rear bar?
2. How hard if mounted on the spare wheel carrier is it to change a Tyre?
3. Your opinion if this was your vehicle where would you mount it ?

Regards

Both Codan and Barret Auto tunes should fit the Kaymar HF mount without any difficulty, many guys in my club have these mounts.
You may have to offset the mount slightly towards the back door to fit, Oh it also fits to the outside of the wheel mount.

Thanks for the Photo.
I have replied to your previous Email with a better Photo of our rig to give you some Idea on what we are talking about.

P.S I have adjusted my resolution and can now see that you have a swing arm.
