LPG on 4runner V6 3.0lt

Hi guys
was wondering if anybody has had experience or issues with LPgas on a V6 4runner.
I was interested in converting it but my mechanic tells me that the V6's dont like LPG and that they are known for doing heads
He further tells me that V6 heads are worth a packet to buy in the couple of grand mark??
help will be appreciated

I can certainly confirm that.
I know a couple of guys with the V6 who have had the heads replaced at considerable cost.
None are running on gas , but , if it has issues just on Petrol , it would a right PITA on Gas.
PS , they aren't the only ones , early V6 Pajeros , and the 3.4 Prado , had similar concerns on gas.
