the polar antena you mentioed,was that the 392 model,sounds good can you let us know.

Hi Toohey, Receipt for both 'em I have does not show model.One I paid $115 (2005) & other $ 100 (2003)..They are not open yet 8:20am..Will call them later Rgs Brian (RockyOne)

Hi again Toohey & co, The Polar antenna I use is the Polar Model 317 GC UHF..I got both of
mine from
Emerald Communication specialists (Installs,testing,repair) Central Western Communications,
Emerald,Qld, Ph 07 4987 5520 Fx 07 4987 5520 Normal stock line for them..(Must be more work type 4x4s here per capitia, than anywhere on mainland Australia..They all have UHF)..Works much better than the 2m (6') huge white ones we used to use and is half the height..The higher you mount any antenna,the better all round coverage unless you have a plastic hard-top..Helps?
