G'day Chris,
Was up there a couple of weeks ago and it is still a fun drive. For a bit of variety you can take the left fork in
the entrance road at the sign titled "
Camp Milo" and this is also a good drive with a couple of good rutted climbs that you should enjoy and also some nice scenery. It is longer than the Kings
Bore Track and merges with it where it becomes one way in its approach to the beach.
We saw the closest shave I have seen in years while we were there. These yobbos came up off the beach against the signage and had a minor head on with an 80 series cruiser coming down the correct way on the one way road. The
hill descent to the beach is steep and very blind so the poor guy in the Cruiser had nowhere to go. It was lucky no-one got hurt but there you go.
Otherwise it is still a nice part of the world.
