NSW Bendethra Gathering

G'day Brad (and others),

what's happening with the Bendethra trip? My kids are crook at the moment and with the weather cooling down, I hope they get better pretty soon.

I noticed there's quite a few people whom can't make it and wonder whether it might be a good idea to organise a day trip or 2 for NSW members. Those Vic's have now got a group of them that go out on day trips together, which would suit us down to the ground.

So 2 questions:

1. What's the go with Bendethra

2. Anyone interested in some local trips to Watagan's, Stockton, Newnes, Wollemi etc? I'm pretty new to this and would love some company.

Unfotunately I have to work, so I cant go at this stage. Not sure if we could put it off, I just didnt want to dissapoint people because of my own commitments

Hi Baz et al,
have just registered as late attendee, will be good to catch up again.
thats 5 repeat offenders.
My wife is coming this trip so its tenting this time as she refuses to swag it.
I've promised it wont be cold.

Well you'll certainly fit in with Paul & Angelo having the same vehicles, Bendethra is a great place should be a great weekend.

day trips, one topic that will be discussed i'm sure on saturday night.

There are a group of regular EO NSW members and visiters that go for weekends and day trips, some i have mentioned already we go to these places you've mentioned and have been to the VIC/SA Murry Sunset EO gathering, NSW EO gathering Bendethra (the first NSW EO gathering) and the NSW EO gathering at Hill End.

We regularly go to Sunny Corner, Watagans, Yalwal, Hill End, Bendethra, Newnes/Lithgow area.

When ever we go away we post so keep an eye out.

Excellent Baz, have been keeping my eyese open.

Was talking to Crazie a few days ago and they've got a small group the go and regularly. Not knowing the areas, this sort of thing in NSW would suit us really well. Also, if there were a few families that would come along, even better. It's not as much fun exploring on your own as with a group.

Looks like I'm going to Perth on Sunday 29th now so may not be able to make it this time to Bendethra.
