Are there any more detailed maps available for a Garmin c60 handheld Gps?

Hi herdsman.....if it's anything like the etrex you have to buy the metroguide cd and upload maps. My etrex just came with a basemap of Australia and I had to upload the rest.

Basically any mapsource CD from Garmin will work. go to www.garmin.com web site look for your GPS and on the 60C page on the right is a list of Mapsource products that will work with it.

I forgot to mention, there are only 2 Mapsource CD's in Australia now, City Navigator and BlueCharts. Apparently Metroguide is incorporated into City Navigator's latest version, apparently. The difference between City Nav and Metroguide is City Nav is street by street auto routing, which your GPS can do, and Metroguide shows you as the crow flies direction to the address you typed in. There are no desert tracks in Australia for the Garmin.
