Could anyone tell me whether the trafficator flasher unit is located under the dash in the engine compartment of a 97 Nissan Patrol.
Thanks.

The turn signal flasher unit on a GQ patrol is located on a bracket under the dash, between the brake pedal mounting and the steering column.

Tomj,
The flasher unit is located under the dash (in the footwell)....
You don't say if yours is a (late) GQ or a (early) GU,
but anyway.....
In the GQ, it's to the left of the brake pedal actuator rod....
In the GU, it's attached to a bracket directly above the clutch pedal...
Hope this helps:)...
Regards, Ed. C.
