Hi,
I'm in a fix hope someone can help. The grease nipple on my universal/tail shaft on a GU patrol is damaged. It's 6mm 0.75 pitch and looks to be 67.5 deg angle. I can't find anyone that has them including Nissan. Do you know of a source, even if you've got an old second hand one it will get me by as I leave in a few days for a trip to
Cape Melville etc.
Thanks

G'day Austravel,
Have ya tried an ag-supplies outlet?? (eg, Elders, Wesfarmers, CRT & the like)...
Otherwise, try a tractor dealership (esp. those dealing in European/Jap makes), or a truck spares outlet...
It's been a while since I was in farming (20-odd yrs), but these sorts of
places usually carry a good range of grease nipples.. (& I've replaced a few in my time!)..
Happy hunting!!
Regards, Ed. C.

theres plenty of gu`s in car yards that might have one you could swap with? I`m sure they wouldn`t mind if they didn`t know about it .

Ah yes, the ol' "midnight spares" dept....
the thought would never have crossed my mind;-))..
I'll remember them next time I need some (ahem) "spares"....
(like a sump plug or something like that;-)))

Where are you Austravel??? We keep a fair array of nipples in our store at work, I'll be in on Wednesday and will have a look for you. I work in Altona and live in Ferntree Gully, if you happen to be somewhere in between I could drop a couple off or I could post them(assuming I can get one)

G'day Austravel,
we have 6mm x 1.0pitch(measures closer to 0.75 but labelled as 1.0) we don't have 67.5 deg, we do have straight, 45 or 90 deg. If these are likely to help, I'm happy to send a couple of each. Email me at work:
