Did anyone read the article in the Sunday Paper about the Vapourate System that claims to save up to 25% in Fuel costs. The theory is that it vapourises the excess fuel that is normally wasted and and puts it back into the engine. It is distributed by Repco and costs $289.They also claim that you can change from Premium to Unleaded once this is hooked up.Sounds to good to be true.

yeh, I've fitted it to the Patrol. Now, because I can get 25% saving from this and 25% from Hi-Clone and 25% from using Cruiser Oil and 25% from sticking an additive in my coolant and 10% from using my Uni-Filter (air filter) and 10% cos I've got a snorkel fitted.........................I can leave home with an empty fuel tank; drive 1000 klm and have 50 litres of fuel in it at the end of the day!!!!! hahaha

I've overcome the soaring fuel prices by fitting a clockwork engine to my car. Works a treat on the coast with all the winding road...not much chop across the Nullabour though, have to use the big key supplied with the clockwork engine.

There is one formula available that is guaranteed to work - to save 25% of your fuel usage, travel 25% less distance.........

Got an email back from them saying that I can get a 4 kw increase in my LC100 4.5 as well as the fuel usage improvements

Am Unichipping it at Graeme Cooper - as soon as I pay my tax bill :( - might add it after the Unichip is installed and tested and see if it makes a difference on the dyno. Will be i-n-t-e-r-e-s-t-i-n-g... Vapourate say that if no difference will refund...

Let you know.
