Looking for ideas to help store tent poles on an off road camper trailer. Currently carry the poles inside the trailer but am interested in any suggestions as to the best method to store the poles externally. Have looked at plastic pipe and metal boxes but have yet to see the solution that satisfies security, ruggedness and the ability to hold twenty to thirty poles.

Mate I've got on off-road CT as
well and have been doing my head in with the same problem. I was going to originaly make a box and fit it under the camper but I've got extra large chassis rails, so that stopped that idea as the box would have been to close to the ground.( Idea 2) was to make a box on the dirvers side of the camper above the wheel arch that sealed up under the access hatch of the trailer.
(Idea 3) Fit a PVC pipe across the front of the trailer on the boat rack as this would give me access from both sides (drivers, passenger) as
well as enough height off the groung to hopefully not have to worry about smashing it with stones
