Could anyone suggest a competent workshop for this type of vehicle/engine?
It is a bit slow and I would like a competent diagnose.

Can't offer any specific mechanics but one word of advice - if you want compentence stay away from the dealers!!!

p.s. from experience!

p.s.s. also join and post a thread on http://forum.australia4wd.com/index.php - there is a Jackaroo forum, people have had similar experiences and you should get some informative replies if the same contributors don't reply on this one.

Hi Ovi, I have a similar car, and am a mechanic, so much of these engines are electronic that i would suggest a auto elect. with the diagnostic gear to hook up to the computer is the way to go to check out if there is a problem.
With a deisel the main things are fuel and air, change the fuel and air filters, also use the correct grade of oil.
