Along with numerous other vehicles (local - Adel), we have experienced discolouring in the plastics on the genuine supplied bull bar. Plastic is yellowing.

Have you experienced this?

Let your dealer know. The more who complain the better chance that we all have of getting the problem fixed.

Obviously Toyota do not supply these, they are supplied by a contractor.

At this stage I have not heard back from Toyota, but someone did say - good luck!!

How old is the bar?

I had one fitted in Perth in 2002 and then lived for 2 years in Darwin. It did fade a little but a generous wipe of armour-all every now and again brought it back to life.

Wizard,
October 04.
I know personally of one other. When I reported it to the dealer, they checked the bosses and other vehicles in the yard and they had the same problem.

So it is a problem and may be one that will be fixed under a warranty.

Thanks for your response.
