My apologies, I didn't realize that. I saw the manual years ago and found it to be both comprehensive and useful. Worth a peek, even for old hands.

Sound’s like something worth getting hold of, going to download it later.

One of the thing’s I have in my kit is an army manual I got hold of from somewhere, not a survival Manuel as such. It’s Land operation’s manual for the infantry but it is filled with a lot of useful stuff

Then some stuff I will probably never need I.E, how to set up and initiate an ambush, ground movement signals, helicopter hand direction signals and more.

Don't laugh at me, but I've got a similar book made for the scouts. It's excellent and has all that useful information about navigating by stars at night, how to find water, all of the knots etc, etc, etc.

I was a boy scout when I was young and you know what they say, "Be prepared." Good motto for us I think.

Smocky.
