What sort of heights has anyone lifted a 2003 onwards Prado with after market suspension? I have a new hilux with almost identical front suspension, hearing all sorts of different info from people about the max height you can get. ARB is only going 35mm in the front, had another company say they did 60mm front in a new hilux using Bilsteins and lovells springs with no problems (same springs as the Prado)?

Does anyone know of what problems a 50mm lift would cause if any?

Gday Lux

Is it an IFS front, if so more than 50mm will put fully harsh angles on the CV joints, you should be able to go 50mm no problem but a wheel alignment is recommended.
Did ARB say why they would only go 35 on the front?

If you get more than 50mm lift most insurance companies won't cover you....
With Prado you can have 50mm in front even with steel bullbar,
dual batteries, winch, etc...

Contact GO_OFFROAD, he will be able to do what you need...

Hi Lux,
I have had my 120 set up as described with the Bilstiens and Lovell springs...for some time.
Excellent package, rides better than factory setup....and brilliant off road.
I also had removed the ARB setup that was first done after 9 months as it was not satisfactory
Good luck.
Joe
