G'day to you all.....
I am trying to calculate the distance, time frame needed & fuel needed to travel south to north from the
birdsville track/yelpawaralina (warburton/K1 line)
intersection,up to poppel corner then on to the watering hole at
birdsville. We have a TD hilux that sees approx 12.5ltrs per 100km.
Any help would be much appreciated.
ThankYou
PS see you at the races.......

Haven't got amap in front of me, look at the one that comes with your Desert Parks Pass that you've bought (if not why not). Reckon it would have to be at least 300-350 k's.

Gidday
Wolfie just got back from a round trip BV - Poeppel - K1 - then back up the
inside track to BV. It's 190 k's from the
Birdsville track to Poeppel via the K1. This is easy going running mainly with the dunes. Poeppel to BV is 170 k's. You'll use a bit more fuel here negotiating the dunes.
Ask Dave & Michelle about an interesting
camp they had with Wolf on the K1 line.....you need to start collecting wood before you get there.
PS See you at the Races.....
