Have been on a magazine advertisers trip with Mr Portman, well organised, and confident in his ability, last i heard he was attempting the canning [again] in 2wd nissan skylines.

Hey RockyOne - you should have mentioned Geoff when you were here - he's a great mate of ours and does fantastic trips. Did you see the photos of the Nissan Skylines in the Office?
Hey Go Off Road - how you doing?

Hi Ruth,Made my day (07:42 Mon) to hear from you guys..No,I did'nt see the pix,so gives me another reason to venture out there again..Never even got out to Big Red but still saw a lot I've never seen..Have to go through Quilpie nex time,as wkd in wool sheds (Ferrier/Koertz etc presses) at Cheepie, suburb of Quilpie, but never go into Quilpie, ever. The rocks dissappeared my 7-pin trailer plug completly on home run..Wondered why flashers did'nt work (never needed them 'till Longreach)..7 bare wires hanging out back..Take a 4x4 next time, bit more clearance altho Rusty & Lofty do it ok in the Falcon vans..Hope us tourists keep you busy winter.Rgs Lofty H (RockyOne)!MPG:4!

Hi GO_OFFROAD, Good to know "the lad" is fine..I know he has found he is not made of "Tupperware™" as he did an arm,I think on one of his motor-cycle desert ventures. He likes his Nissans/Datsuns (same thing really?)..Remember he used Datsuns when he was Australian rally champion I believe..Like Sully,he would have to look up the "bored" in the dictionary to know the actual meaning of ithe word, having not experienced it for a long time...BTW..Bored..a person or thing that wearies..See you out there, somewhere

Geoff is back doing some forestry work, testing for Nissan, etc.
Lisa is breeding horses.
Not enough money in running tag-a-longs and very tiring.
Sad, as they ran (in my opinion) the best trips in Oz. We did the Canning and Simpson with them.
