Bev,
I have a Megapulse series (1) on my starter battery, I believe it works, I have bought a series (111) to use with the two Deep Cycle batteries wired in parallel, as the original series (1) unit is (strictly speaking) not suitable for use in multiple battery situations..
I tested my two DC batteries over a 5 or 6 week period and the voltage in battery (a) went up by about o.6v over the time of the
test.
Both batteries were out of the vehicle and were charged and discharged simultaneously as they remained wired in parallel on the 240v charger.
Indicating one battery was starting to sulphate up, or was sulphated up MORE than the other.
Eg; battery (a) was at a lower voltage than battery (b) at start of
test, however at end of the
test was higher than battery (b).
At the time I did not use a solar regulator with PWM.

Yes.
Absolutely.
They won't restore a battery which is "mechanically" buggered, but I have restored a number of batteries which appeared stuffed due sulphation and have then given a lot more service.
