Hi All

Has anyone used one of these things for cleaning the rig after the mud and how good are they? I haven't heard any noise about them before, good or bad. It looks like it might get into the hard to reach areas.

The reason I'm asking is the offer of a freebie for a magazine subscription.

Regards
Andy

I've got one. They are fantastic. Try cleaning your car how you normally would then use the wand after that. It is amazing how much extra you will get out.

Have to agree with Utemad got one from the subscription offer. It turned up the week before we left for Fraser. Used it when we got back and I found it cleaned out mud that must have been in there from 8 months earlier.

Definitely worth the subscription

Cheers

Its a pressure sprayer I take it. Can you use it for anything else around the house? What is the magazine as may be interested?

Yep, hooked up to the air compressor in the garage it is useful for so many things that you wouldn't have normally thought of!

But as for under the car, oh yeah, it get's SO MUCH crap out, they are expensive for a bit of welded up metal but they are fantastic!

But to anser D-Jack's question, great for cleaning out the home brew kit too! ;-)

Will it run off a 4WD tyre air pump or do you need one of the big compressors?
Which magazine are we talking about?
Thanks

mfewster,
Had a Kaarcher (Spelling) and it bust! So the wife got me a U.B.B. for my/Our Anniversary an I have never looked back I would suggest you get a Cheep Compressor from Supercheap or similar I picked mine up for $69 from memory they blow allot harder which makes it work a lot better. So for about $130.00 you are set better than $500.00+ for the Kaarcher. Plus all the added uses for the compressor i.e. air tools, spray gun ect ect….

I used a Karcher a few times to clean my ute and I found that for cleaning underneath it was pretty useless. The long wand just prevents you from getting at too much.

Great for cleaning the driveway afterwards though.
