triton check engine light

Hi folks
does anyone know of a web site that has a list of the ecu codes for a Mitsubishi mk triton v6 1997 and how to access the codes from the engine management system..............My check engine light came on the other day due to I think a faulty dual battery system overloading the charge system.

The light is no longer showing however I would like to check for myself all is well or at least know where to look in the advent of a problem.
