GU 3.0 Tdi has snapped an aircond compressor mount

Stuff me!
Under the truck the other day and noticed a bolt missing from my air cond compressor. Had a closer look and the mount that comes off the compressor to hold it onto the motor GONE. Snapped off!
Everything still working OK but how weird is that. Anyone heard of it before?
My local Nissan man has ordered me a whole new compressor. It's a warranty job.
Let you all know how I go.

no i have not heard off that won but i am having my compressor replaced under warrent as it is winning like bad diif noise and over the last 2 months every major moving pulley and what it runs has been replaced under warrenty vehicle 18months old

That's not good Allan.
It is normal for the 3.0tdi's to have a squealy belt if you give it a bit of mud and water work but I've not heard of others replacing all the pully's. Sounds like something is out of alignment. good luck, and don't forget to count the bolts holding the aircond compressor on! LOL
