Fantastic rain over the last couple of days. At Cavendish (at the bottom of the Grampians) we've had just on 30mm, hows everyone else faired? Should be a typical long weekend in Vic!!! hooray!!

Hi Foxer
I was just jumping on this forum to write the same thing. We live in Cobar NSW(between Broken Hill and Dubbo). It started raining at 11:00 last night and so far we have recieved 22mm. Up till yesterday the total for the year was 11mm, so we are stoked, love to hear how the rest of the country is fairing.

Cheers Dodg.

G'day Foxer, had 32mm over the three days at Timboon and is fantastic so should see some growth of grass cover now at last. Hope the rest of the monarchs birthday is worth celebrating too.

Hope to catch up with you some day Foxer.......

Saturday morning and its just started here (outside the ACT). Its pretty light but we haven't seen any rain at all since the day the Kangaroos played Geelong at Manuka in March I think it was. One of the cats has gone mad - can't remember what rain is. I'm just letting the first bit wash the dust off the roof before I let it run into the tanks. Looking at the radar there is good rain from Wagga to here, so fingers crossed.

I was in Bunnings in Adelaide when there was this funny sound on the roof. After I left there was this funny watery stuff falling down from the sky. i was sure it was a terrorist attack and was just about to grab the frige magnet from the dash of the Challa and dial the appropriate no. when I remembered that back in the old days there was this stuff called RAIN!
Aint it great?
We drove home through sloshing puddles with Challa romping along ingesting great gulps of cool moist air and splashing the stuff between her All Terrain toes like a two year old. We've got full tanks, the garden looks greener than ever
and there are puddles in the driveway. If you listen carefully you can just hear the combined roar of thousands of farmers' tractors starting up.
Yahoo!!!
