Hi Guys,
Has Any one ever heard of or used Automatic transmission Fluid As a fuel additive in unleaded petrol, replacing Leaded petrol or super? I have heard of a few people doing it and wondered whether it was worth while as ATF is cheaper than the flash lube that I use now

if your vehicle was intended to run on super, and you dont wish to retain forever (till you die) it may be more practical to run the thing on unleaded till it dies whilst budgeting to replace with unleaded vehicle.

Yeah ATF fluid is basically hydraulic fluid, can’t see it mixing to well with petrol.

Premium with the lead substitute best way to go

If you really want to go el-budjo you could use kerosene, or stock up on avgas-100

Forget about those little Flashlube packs the servos sell. The product is good, econ is not..I buy the 1 Litre bottle and add a plastic egg cup to ea tank of 50 litres..Even use it in my Wrangler as,if it lubes top end of "super" motor,it must help a "un-leaded motor" also..No motor ever died from over-lubrication. (Except of course, back when we used to add SAE-30 to our 2-strokes and plugs carboned up..Jawa/CZs,chainsaws etc)..BiTron fuel additive makes a motor mrun sweet also..Also only use a egg-cup of it per 50ltr and find it works well. Not "snake oil"..Got doubts..Use the "suck it and see" system..Try a tankful
