I've just recently purchased a Magellan Sorts Trak Pro and was wondering if anyone has used the ozi explorer softwware on their gps and if so what are your
views on it. Should i buy the ozi explorer software or the original software from magellan.
thanks Dasha

Dasha, the OziExplorer software is to have on your laptop or computer and the Magellan software can be loaded to some of their GPS systems like the SD cards on the Meridian range. It can also interface to a laptop.
It seems that Sports Trak Pro would only have very limited ability to upload detailed maps however but would only be the Magellan maps.

Dashmir
Get both. Ozi is best for running on a host of maps including the Natmap raster series, Hema, Westprint and any map you care to scan. The Magellan stuff is good but limited to their expensive proprietary maps. How much did you pay for the Pro?

Dasha, I have a 256 meg memory card but you should be able to load limited maps, but they will be the propriety Streets and Tracks maps.
