Hi,
Just got back from a trip to Butcher Country, Victoria. Both rear door electric windows have stopped functioning.
I'm gonna take a look over the electrics tonight. Any clues on whether the mechanisms are prone to failure on rough tracks?
Because they both failed, my first look will be the power supply to both. Do they share a relay block?
Cheers

Mine does the same thing if I haven't used them for a while or after a trip where there was a bit of moisture around. I just spray a bit of WD40 under the switch and they come good

The rear door windows are wired through the panel on the drivers door. Some vehicles rear windows won't operate if there is a problem with the drivers switch panel. I know commodores are like this.
Sounds like an auto electrician is needed here.

If the passenger one works, its not the drivers door switch block, for both to fail, it sounds like a power problem, they dont usually both go together, but something common with boh will have happened...the relay that switches power is at the drivers feet, but if that had failed, you would loose all windows, so its back to that switch on the drivers door or the switches on the rear doors...
