Can anyone out there offer me any advice on wheel/tyre and suspension set-ups for the 05 Lux. Any info on bigger tyres, rim offsets and lifted suspension would be much appreciated. I want to run 265/70R16 tyres and go up about 50mm but I'm unsure what rim offset will give me enough clearance and if I can get out of bolting flares on.

tuff lux i have put the 90 series base model prado rims on with 225/75 16 they stay in the gaurds you may like to try the navara rims also i fitted king springs to the front as the bull bar winch and d/batt saged it 40mm the springs added 30mm to the standard height witch it now sits level with the rear

Tuff Lux if you want run 265/70R16 you will need flares on your SR, 50mm lift in the front good idea, the rear leave as is. I have 31's on my SR5, steel bar and winch dosn't help height in the front, 40mm h/d king springs fixed that problem drives+steers better over the rough stuff. Can email pictures of rig

Thanx 'xrdave' . What rims have you got your 31's on? Do they scrub out at all?

The rims are standard toyota 7x15 alloys, tyres don't scrub at all. filled 146lt fuel tank today rig sitting nice and level. By the way SR5's in asia and europe have 265/70R16 as standard fittment.
