Hey.

I just wiped 10 years of info and files off my other PC which I thought I had backed up on this one.

I'm sitting here pretty mixed up about it.

Make sure YOU back up all your data.

have a good weekend.

I'm sure there is a way to retrieve it these days.

may be expensive - depends on how bad you want it back

There are several utilities some freeware that will recover the files. I haven't had the misfortune to require them so can't recommend anything but a search will bring up plently of options.

You won't miss it and in a couple of weeks you'll wonder why you didn't free up all that space long ago. Live for the future.

A very bad coincedence, I turned my computer on today and it said it had recovered from a fault. All programs not associated with windows XP have either been deleted or are now not able to be opened . Lucky I have all photos on disc.

What evil porn sites have you been lookig at Mr Musty.

Glenn.

Thanks for the tip. I'm a Project Manager for a software developer during the day and forever telling customers to back up.

Just sheepishly backed up all my photos and documents for the first time in about 18 months.

Cheers,
