Just recently reset the rear springs in my 3.0dsl 98 hilux extra and raised front torsion bar up 40mm. Drives beautifully, but there seems to be a humming noise coming from rear, not a conastant noise, but has a second space in between each, when i take it up to 60k/hr. Car doesn't shake at all, its gotta a uni or a bearing(diff, wheel) but cant seem to pin point the noise anyone had any similar problems.

Burger. Dunno mate but maybe now the height is different the aerodynamics have altered slightly and a panel is resonating from a combination of wind and normal vehicle drive chain vibration. Try putting a load in the back, say 100 kg, as see if it's still there. Rus.

You did'nt mention the overall lift over standard..If the re-set was severe, the lift could require re-aliging the driveshaft/diff..Wedges are avail from suspension places for this,to fit between rear axle and strings to tilt diff up a whisker..You can,no doubt, prove this by following Rus/Mary suggestion and loading it up,providing this does'nt just "kill" a sheet metal noise from the pickup/flat-top floor.Helps?
