g'day all.......only new to the forum and relatively new to the four wheel drive scene.... my family and i love our camping (tent) but have fairly limited ourselves to the coastal regions and bitumen trails...would love to see alot more of the interior using our 2001 3.0 l st patrol which brings me to my question.... i have a 7x4 "matax" trailer with 265/75x16 on steel rims (same as patrol) which i would regard as pretty heavy duty except for one lil' thing..... it has torsion bar suspension.....how suited to the harsh interior conditions would this type of suspension be ??...as an ex member of the heavy vehicle industry i wasn't real keen on this type b4 the change over to air bags.....

be easy on me and thanks in advance......"rooscoota".

Greetings

Have a look here for trailer parts including suspensions Vehicle Components

I am a believer in correctly fitted shock absorbers with whatever trailer suspension you use.

Good gear - I use the coupling that these guys sell, rather than the Treg.
