Is anyone using this free software ?
If so, what do you think of it ?
Does anyone know where I can Download it ?
It's is usually downloadable from www.columbus.com au, but I am not having any luck. Thanks Neil

Main problem I see with this program (having never bothered to use it) is that it only uses BSB format maps.(I think)..which limits your options. For starters you cannot scan your own maps or use a host of readily available maps (mainly in jpg/tiff/ecw format). Contact columbus direct to get download (info @ columbus.com.au). While not free OziExplorer is your best bet for this type of software - if you actually use the software on a regular basis then its worth the small (IMHO) amount of monety it costs.

I agree with the previous reply. I have not used "Trax". I use OziExplorer and I am very happy with it.
There are a large number of maps available that can be used including "Natmaps" and "Hema", etc
