I need to get some wheels (3 total) to match my Prado GXL to use on a trailer - I have tried wreckers websites or new steel rims like speedy wheels - but can't find anything to match size of wheels already on the vehicle - any suggestions or people who have changed for some reason and want to sell the orginals.
Thanks

The only steel wheels available for 120 GXL that I know of are imports from markets where GXL comes standard with 7.5 x 17" steel rims.

CMI Toyota in Adelaide did bring some in a while ago but not sure they have them now.

I am also building a trailer and would like to match the wheels to the car. Options are the Speedy Wheels Alloy (same pattern as stock) for about $300 each or ROH Wheels put out one called RTX which will fit. I am buying the RTX for my trailer.

A real Bugga isn't it!

Yep from memory the part no for a steel GXL 7.54 x17 rim is 42611 60440. Shoul be able to get them under $200 ea. This is not to be confused with the narrower GX rim.

After much searching I found that Toyota make an Accessory Wheel especially for the 120 GXL Prado.. Called "Phoenix" and sell at $288 each. Its an alloy but not the same as the factory wheels but certainly fits and is a better price than the $1000 they want for the standard alloy. I'm using it as the second spare.
On my invoice from Coffs Harbour Toyota the part number is listed as PZQ8060090.
Cheers,
Bob

Ive got some of these Phoenix rims on my Camper. They are well made and have already taken quite a beating with no problems. Go to a Toyota dealer and you may find the price is very negotiable....I got mine at just under 200.00 each.
